I’m trying to buy a limited-edition item from an Australian brand that only accepts local credit cards and billing addresses. I live in the UK, so my card gets rejected every time. I’ve tried PayPal and other workarounds, but nothing works. Then I found jetkrate, and they offer something called shopping concierge support.
Basically, you tell them what you want from any Australian online store, and they purchase it for you using Australian payment methods. The items get delivered to your Jetkrate suite, and then you manage the international package forwarding yourself—choosing repacking, consolidation, customs declarations, insurance coverage, and delivery options. They also have a photography service that provides visual confirmation of your items before dispatch, which is great for confirming you got the right product.
I like that Jetkrate gives you complete control over how your package is shipped, including packaging choices and carrier selection. They ship from Australia to key global destinations like the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, India, China, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and France, so the UK is covered.
Before I pay their concierge fee, has anyone actually used this service? How responsive are they? Do they handle limited-quantity drops well? And does their repacking actually reduce shipping costs? I want speed and security, but I also don’t want to overpay. Please share your experiences!
