Throwing this out to the community because my office manager and I have gone back and forth on it for weeks. We're a two-chair practice and our front desk is one person. When she's at lunch, on a bathroom break, or already on a call, the phone just rings out. Patients hate it and a few have left reviews mentioning it. Someone in my dentist mastermind group mentioned Callacy as something he uses for overflow and after-hours, and I've seen people talk about Goodcall and a few others too. My worry is patients hearing a robot and getting weirded out, especially older ones. For those of you in healthcare or any appointment-heavy business, did your patients actually notice? Did anyone complain? Or has the tech gotten good enough that it just blends in?
