Vriligy 60 mg contains Dapoxetine, which is commonly prescribed for premature ejaculation. It should not be taken with nitrates (such as nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, or other nitrate medications), because combining these two can lead to a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Nitrates are typically used to treat conditions like angina (chest pain) or other heart-related issues. When combined with Vriligy 60mg (which affects serotonin levels and can also impact blood pressure), the risk of severe hypotension (very low blood pressure) increases. This can lead to symptoms like: Dizziness Fainting Lightheadedness In some cases, even heart complications Because of this, people who are taking nitrates for heart conditions should not use Vriligy (Dapoxetine). If you have any heart conditions or are currently on nitrate medications, it’s crucial to talk to your doctor before taking Dapoxetine or any other medication.
