Malegra 50 mg (which contains sildenafil citrate) can affect vision in some users, though these effects are usually mild and temporary. Sildenafil works by increasing blood flow through inhibition of the PDE-5 enzyme, but it can also slightly affect a related enzyme (PDE-6) found in the retina. This is why visual side effects may occur. Common vision-related effects include blurred vision, increased sensitivity to light, or a blue or green Malegra 50 Mg tinge to objects. Some people also report difficulty distinguishing between blue and green colors. These symptoms typically appear shortly after taking the medication and fade as the drug leaves the body. In rare cases, more serious visual problems have been reported, such as sudden vision loss due to a condition called non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). Although this is extremely uncommon, the risk may be higher in individuals with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, high cholesterol, or a history of eye problems.
