Understanding Yelan’s Role: The Silent Executor
Before we start farming, it’s crucial to understand what makes Yelan tick. Her primary strength lies in her Skill (Elemental Skill) and Burst (Elemental Burst).
The *Elemental Skill, Lingering Lifeline, allows her to dash rapidly, marking enemies. When the dash ends, she deals significant Hydro damage based on her Max HP. This is great for quick damage and mobility.

If you are running a strong ER weapon (e.g., Favonius Warbow) AND have two Hydro characters (including Yelan): You can strongly consider swapping to an HP% Sands. This offers a massive boost to her personal damage, as her HP pool will be significantly larger, provided you can still maintain around 180% ER.
General Rule of Thumb for Emblem Yelan: Aim for 200% ER minimum. If you hit that easily, switch the Sands to HP%.
