Vilitra 60 mg (which contains Vardenafil) is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It's a higher dose of Vardenafil, typically prescribed to those who have not responded to lower doses like 10 mg or 20 mg. Here's how to use it effectively and safely: 1. Dosage Instructions: Recommended Dose: Take 1 tablet of Vilitra 60 mg approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity. Maximum Dose: The recommended maximum dose is 1 tablet per day, so do not take more than one 60 mg tablet in a 24-hour period. When to Take It: It should be taken on an empty stomach or with a light meal. Avoid heavy or high-fat meals as they can delay the onset of action. Avoid alcohol or Vilitra 60 Mg alcohol consumption, as it can interfere with the effectiveness of the medication and increase side effects. How to Take It: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. There’s no need to chew or crush the tablet—just take it as is. 2. How Vilitra 60 Works: Vardenafil works by inhibiting PDE5 (phosphodiesterase type 5), which increases blood flow to the penis, helping you achieve and maintain an erection during sexual activity. Sexual Stimulation: It's important to note that Vilitra 60 doesn't cause an erection automatically. Sexual arousal and stimulation are still required for the medication to work effectively. 3. When Should You Take It? Take it about 30 to 60 minutes before planning sexual activity. The effects of Vilitra 60 can last for 4-5 hours, so you have a window of time to engage in sexual activity. 4. Precautions: Consult Your Doctor: Always follow your doctor’s recommendations. Your healthcare provider will help you determine the right dosage for your needs. Do Not Exceed One Dose Per Day: Taking more than one dose in 24 hours increases the risk of side effects, such as headaches, dizziness, or more serious complications like priapism (a prolonged, painful erection).
