Crushing or chewing the tablet is not usually recommended unless specifically directed by a healthcare provider. The reason is that Fildena tablets are formulated to release the medication in a controlled way after reaching the stomach. Crushing them may alter the absorption rate, leading to faster onset or unpredictable effects, which could increase the risk of side effects such as headache, dizziness, or low blood pressure. Additionally, the bitter taste of crushed sildenafil can be unpleasant. If swallowing tablets is difficult, alternatives like Fildena chewable tablets or oral jelly are available.
