Vilitra 20 mg contains vardenafil, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Like other PDE5 inhibitors, Vilitra can cause some side effects, including vision disturbances, although these are relatively rare.
Vision Disturbances Associated with Vilitra 20 mg:
Some users report changes in color perception, such as seeing a blue tint or having difficulty distinguishing between blue and green.
Blurred vision or increased sensitivity to light (photophobia) can also occur.
These symptoms happen because PDE5 inhibitors can affect enzymes in the retina, temporarily altering visual processing.
How Common Are These Effects?
Vision-related side effects are uncommon and usually mild.
They tend to occur shortly after taking the medication and typically resolve within a few hours.
Severe or persistent vision changes are rare but require immediate medical attention.
Precautions:
Avoid VILITRA 20 if you have a history of serious eye conditions like NAION (non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy).
