Super Vilitra is a combination medication that contains Vardenafil (a PDE5 inhibitor) and Dapoxetine (a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor or SSRI). It is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE). While Super Vilitra can be effective in managing these conditions, there are certain situations where you should stop using the medication immediately and seek emergency medical attention. Here are the key situations that call for stopping Super Vilitra right away: 1. Severe Allergic Reactions (Anaphylaxis): Signs: Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat; difficulty breathing; hives or rash; dizziness; and chest tightness. If you experience any of these allergic reactions, stop using Super Vilitra immediately and seek urgent medical care. Anaphylaxis is a serious, life-threatening condition that requires immediate treatment. 2. Priapism (Painful, Prolonged Erection): Signs: An erection that lasts for more than 4 hours, whether or not you are sexually stimulated. This is a painful condition and can lead to permanent damage to the penis if not treated promptly. Action: Stop using Super Vilitra immediately if you experience an erection lasting more than 4 hours, and seek immediate medical attention to avoid permanent damage. 3. Chest Pain or Pressure: Signs: Feeling of heaviness, tightness, or pain in the chest, nausea, sweating, dizziness, shortness of breath, or discomfort in the jaw, back, or stomach. Action: Stop taking Super Vilitra and seek immediate medical attention. Chest pain could be a sign of a heart attack or angina, and PDE5 inhibitors (like Vardenafil) can potentially increase the risk of cardiovascular events in people with heart problems. 4. Severe Dizziness or Fainting: Signs: Feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or faint after taking Super Vilitra. This may be due to a significant drop in blood pressure, especially if you are on medications for high blood pressure or have existing cardiovascular conditions. Action: Stop taking Super Vilitra if you experience these symptoms, and seek medical advice. Dizziness or fainting could indicate that your blood pressure has dropped too low, which can be dangerous. Super Vilitra Changes or Loss of Vision: Signs: Sudden vision loss or visual disturbances such as blurred vision, color distortion (e.g., seeing everything with a bluish tint), or difficulty distinguishing between colors. Action: If you experience sudden vision loss or any significant changes in your vision, stop using Super Vilitra immediately. This could be a sign of a rare but serious condition called non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), which can lead to permanent vision loss. 6. Hearing Loss or Ringing in the Ears (Tinnitus): Signs: Sudden loss of hearing in one or both ears, or ringing or buzzing sounds in the ears. Action: If you experience sudden hearing loss or ringing in your ears (a condition called tinnitus), stop using Super Vilitra immediately and contact a healthcare provider. This can be a sign of a rare side effect of PDE5 inhibitors. 7. Severe Skin Rash or Hives: Signs: Red, itchy, swollen skin rash or hives, particularly if accompanied by other symptoms like difficulty breathing. Action: If you develop a severe rash or hives, stop using Super Vilitra and consult your doctor. A severe rash can be a sign of an allergic reaction. 8. Breathing Difficulties: Signs: Shortness of breath, wheezing, or difficulty breathing after taking the medication. Action: If you experience breathing problems, stop taking Super Vilitra immediately and seek medical help.
