A heart attack happens when blood can’t get to the heart. This is very serious because the heart needs blood to stay alive and keep working. If the blood flow is blocked, part of the heart can get damaged.
What Causes a Heart Attack? Most heart attacks happen when something blocks the blood vessels that go to the heart. These are called arteries. Fat and other stuff can build up inside them. When the buildup breaks, a blood clot can form and stop blood from getting through.
Other things, like drug use or a sudden spasm in an artery, can also cause a heart attack, but this is more rare.
Signs of a Heart Attack Here are some common signs that someone might be having a heart attack:
Chest pain or pressure
Pain in the arms, back, neck, or jaw
Trouble breathing
Feeling dizzy or sick to your stomach
Sweating a lot
Feeling very tired for no reason
Women and men can have different symptoms. Sometimes women feel more tired or sick to their stomach instead of chest pain.
What Increases the Risk? Some things make a heart attack more likely. These include:
Smoking
High blood pressure
High cholesterol
Being very overweight
Not moving your body much (not exercising)
Eating too much junk food
Too much stress
Getting older and having family members with heart problems can also raise your risk.
How to Stay Healthy You can help prevent a heart attack by:
Eating fruits, vegetables, and healthy foods
Exercising often (like walking or playing sports)
Not smoking
Sleeping enough
Seeing your doctor regularly
If someone is having a heart attack, they need to get help right away. Call emergency services fast. Doctors may give medicine or do surgery to open the blocked artery.
Some medicines, like cenforce 200, are used for other health problems but can affect the heart. People should talk to a doctor before using these, especially if they already have heart issues.
Conclusion Heart attacks are scary, but you can help keep your heart healthy with good choices. Learn the signs, take care of your body, and ask your doctor questions if you’re not sure about something.
