Hey everyone. A few weeks ago, I was involved in an electric vehicle accident, and honestly, I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything. It was a low-speed crash, but the damage to my EV was way worse than I expected. The battery ended up being damaged, and now the repairs are insanely expensive. To make it worse, the insurance company is acting like it’s never handled an EV case before. They’re dragging their feet, and I’m getting the feeling they’re trying to lowball me on the payout.
Has anyone here dealt with something like this? I’ve been trying to research my options and came across this site: https://www.amerberglaw.com/electric-vehicle-accident-lawyer.php. It looks like there are lawyers who specifically deal with electric vehicle accidents, which I didn’t even know was a thing. Just wondering if it’s worth talking to someone legal about it or if anyone here has advice on how to deal with this kind of situation.
