Is it legal for Checkr to report on unproven allegations? I saw here https://floridaindependent.com/when-a-checkr-background-report-harms/ that it’s not. Because of them, I was fired from 2 jobs, and now prevented me from a third job at Doordash all based on the same report of 2 matters that are merely allegations, no convictions. These are the only things on the report. I'm now homeless and destitute because of these reports. I emailed them and pleaded with them to refrain from reporting on allegations but they refused and sure enough, this is the third time they have kept me from working. I've lost everything including my girlfriend and dog and every worldly belonging I owned. They have ruined my life and I've lost thousands of dollars of income that I would definitely have made if not for their insistence on reporting these allegations. Please help me
