Before taking nirmatrelvir and ritonavir,
If you have any allergies, including to Primovir Tablet, paxista Doses, and other drugs, or any of the substances in nirmatrelvir or ritonavir tablets, inform your doctor right away. Request a list of the components from your pharmacist.
While using nirmatrelvir and ritonavir, you should continue to take any ritonavir- or cobicistat-containing drugs that are being used to treat hepatitis C or human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), as directed.

While using ritonavir and nirmatrelvir, use another method of birth control or refrain from having any sexual activity. As you undergo therapy with nirmatrelvir and ritonavir, discuss with your doctor the birth control methods that will be most effective for you.
