You can check the map version on your GPS device by following these steps:
1. Turn on your Garmin unit.
2. Touch Tools icon.
3. Then, Touch Settings cog.
4. Touch Map.
5. After that, Touch Info.
6. Now in this section, you will see the name of your map.
7. You can checkmark the checkbox to enable the mapping on your device.
