I simboli dei chakra sono rappresentazioni visive di sette vortici energetici collocati lungo la colonna vertebrale, ciascuno identificato da un fiore di loto con un numero specifico di petali, un colore cromatico e un mantra sanscrito. Il primo chakra, Muladhara, corrisponde a quattro petali rossi e simboleggia la stabilità terrena, la sopravvivenza e la sicurezza, radicando l’individuo alla realtà fisica. Il secondo chakra, Svadhisthana, è un loto arancione a sei petali, legato alla fluidità e alla creatività, mentre il terzo chakra, Manipura, giallo con dieci petali, rappresenta il potere personale e la volontà. Il quarto chakra, Anahata, di colore verde, ha dodici petali e contiene al suo interno un esagramma (shatkona) che simboleggia l’unione delle polarità maschile e femminile, rappresenta l’amore universale e il cuore spirituale.
