Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA): This MGNREGA scheme guarantees 100 days of wage employment to rural households in India, primarily focusing on providing livelihood security through the creation of durable assets and promoting sustainable development.
Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana (PMRPY): PMRPY incentivizes employers for generating new employment, specifically targeting the textile, apparel, and leather sectors by reimbursing 8.33% of the employer's contribution towards the Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS) for new employees.
e Shram Card: The eshram card is a digital initiative launched by the Government of India to formalize and provide social security benefits to workers in the unorganized sector. It aims to create a comprehensive national database of unorganized sector workers, enabling them to access various welfare schemes and benefits.
